About Me
As I mentioned earlier, I have been a registered childminder for 16 years. My husband and two sons aged 16 and 19, have all been checked and approved by the Criminal Records Bureau.
If you're interested in my services please contact me to arrange a visit. During your visit you will have the opportunity to view all of my certificates, policies and procedures, information pack, parental references etc.
In the 16 years that I have been childminding I have been involved in many things.
I have been secretary of Middlesbrough's childminding group
I've represented childminders on Middlesbrough Early Years Development in Childcare Partnership
I have looked after children with special needs, and found it extremely rewarding
I became a qualified NCMA (National Childminding Association) tutor and delivered childminding courses for Darlington Early Years. The courses being the ICP (Introduction
to Childminding Practice) and DHC (Diploma in homebased Childcare)
After identifying a need for a childminding group in Thornaby and Ingleby Barwick Stockton Sure Start approached me to begin the process of bringing childminders together and developing the group.
I am an NCMA regional committee member
